WORKSHOP 1 Finding the Benefits of Asking for Help
Experiencing many adversities during my life journey, reflecting back I realize some struggles could have been averted if I had reached out for support, shared my thoughts and received guidance. We receive the greatest advantages when we learn to ask for help. Understanding what and/or who to turn to for assistance enables us to become more productive. Freeing us up to focus on what we are able to accomplish. In this workshop we will discover asking for help: Relieves anxiety, fear and insecurities Bonds relationships Generates trust Support our weaknesses
WORKSHOP 2 Understanding the Gift in Yesterday, Today, and Forevermore
CONSIDER -- RELEASE -- EMERGE -- BELIEVE! We are blessed when we learn from our past, reflect on our present and realize there is hope for our future. This workshop is designed to help you examine your journey; celebrate your victories; heal wounds (guilt, shame, unforgiveness, etc); understand your choices; take responsibility or place responsibility where it belongs; and know it is never too late to begin again. You will outline your current path and create or re-create your vision for the future. Yesterday is gone, but it has a great impact on your today. Today begins your forevermore: Recognizing, exposing and releasing the past Embracing your NOW; present state of affairs Freedom to begin or begin again Capturing your dream and outlining the future Each day becomes anew, whatever you make it
WORKSHOP 3 Bridging the Strength Within
Life throws us many curves balls along the way. It’s the foundation that makes the difference. When we are loved and feel secure as a child, it’s easier to dodge the balls. Emotional security is the key to overcoming obstacles. Everything does not have to be rosy, but when we know we can rely on someone to stand with us, we are strengthened just knowing we’re not alone. Truth is, many of us are robbed of this simple benefactor “security” and must learn to stand tall on our own. Sometimes it’s hard to realize your height when you’ve spent so much time mastering the skill of ducking. Self-confidence is gained through self awareness. In this workshop you will be enlightened to: Determine what security means to you Increase your faith through self belief Construct a firm foundation Recognize the stability of your strength
WORKSHOP 4 THE POWER OF A TEAR
There is an erroneous myth about tears. The Father created us with emotions. Could we be denying ourselves of the benefits of His perfect design by shunning, disqualifying and hiding our emotions? Could we be making ourselves gods thinking WE have the power and control of our minds and bodies? ‘Don’t cry is a lie’. Crying releases negative emotions so they won’t fester inside of us causing bitterness, rejection, depression, and physical ailments to name a few. Understanding the blessing of our tears is therapeutic, enabling us to self cleanse. In this workshop as we examine: The time or events we were not allowed to or would not allow ourselves to cry Where did holding back or the blocking of our emotions come from? Why can’t you cry?
